More than 20 flavors made for them by Acushnet Creamery, a new limited flavor each week, vegan ice cream, frappes, sundaes and floats, waffle cones made daily, plus hot dogs, sandwiches and nachos from the food window.

Estate-grown vineyard, winery and distillery on Old Fall River Road, a stop on the Coastal Wine Trail. The tasting room offers wine and spirits flights, with brandies, port-style wines and liqueurs alongside the wines; festivals and live music through the season.

The Society of Friends, long a majority in the town, builds its first meeting house in Old Dartmouth. The Apponegansett Meeting House still stands and is on the National Register.

Best Harbor in the U.S. — voted by US Harbors readers in 2019, 2022 and 2026
Apponagansett Bay, the yacht club, the mooring field, the bridge, and the shops and restaurants along Elm and Bridge streets. The only harbor to take the national title three times, and the place most visits to Dartmouth begin.
